How did we get here? Part of it was by playing SSX 3, trying to find remixes in 2005, and hearing a beautiful song that captured how I was feeling, younger. After hearing Way Away, I knew that Yellowcard would be sticking in my brain for a long time. While a majority of my full-time work is crafting records as a music producer and curating music as an open format DJ, I started from the bottom, starting a band with my friends, going to Van’s warped tour, and really focused on making the most of what I now call my music career as a multi-instrumentalist. that year, getting paid to play 30 songs 4 to 5 times a month as a drummer shaped my entire foundation for what I do now. Some of the earliest moments of my humble times were listening to ocean avenue with friends or blasting breathing in my headphones while skateboarding the majority of my teen life. So, with that being said, it was an honor to coordinate this Yellowcard Team. Since No Cover has been extremely focused on providing the artists and creators, the tools needed to facilitate any path they want, it was also a blessing interviewing Sean Mackin about The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, Cleveland, and advice for the next generation of bands that might strong arm a genre, all over again. So Cleveland, this is available at over 400 locations. We also partnered with 1073 Cleveland and the magazine will be available this Wednesday at Blossom Music Center as well. Childhood Eyes is expected July 21st and sounds AMAZING.
